When Does A Retainer Need To Be Replaced

Cathedral of the Sea

Recently I read this beautiful historical novel Ildefonso Falcones. I never loved a lot of the novels, but this book fascinated me from first to last chapter. Cathedral in question is the beautiful gothic church Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwhich frames the complicated life of a servant of glebe named Arnau.
Held Barcelona in the fourteenth century during the construction work of this church.

A very interesting and turbulent period of history, as well as rich in social issues, some still very current.
The aristocracy who shamelessly exploits and humiliates the poor, and between games of power, war, hunger , inquisition, pest and racism unfolds the story.
In this diverse context never miss the twists and even the troubled aspects of the typical sentimental novels.
Ildefonso Falcones The good writer, by profession lawyer, and his first book, manages to mix well all the elements, letting the reader in suspense in this raw and fascinating historical period. 642 pages of good reading.
